Have you ever been on a beach in Second Life and asked yourself how some avatars seems to be shinier and glossier than others? Almost like they applied oil on their skin. The secret is the in the beachwear itself. Don’t believe it? Go on reading – cause some bikinis and swimsuits bear a great secret in them. Pimp your skin easily – by choosing the right swimwear!

Seriously, you can pimp your complete body skin by wearing an additional clothing layer that is shiny. For example “Nyoko’s Wears” has specialized in that. You can get tasteful swimsuits and bikinis there that bring the additional gloss to your legs and arms. Actually she even has that body oil without clothing too. From a mild shinyness to an extreme shinyness – whatever your heart desires. For both genders.

Standing in the shop long enough you can even get lucky winning something! I went there several times and won all in all 3 items. This sexy swimsuit being one of them. A few months ago I wrote about Peppermint Blue. Back then she had a limited time freebie store up and running and guess what… this time the store is permanent and truely worth looking into.

All clothing boards you find in the Free Store are really free. Not even one Linden. Most of them come as an “all inclusive” package. From underwear, to skins, to shapes, clothing and sometimes even hair, accessories and shoes. Really I mean it – if you have not yet been to Peppermint Blue, take moment to drop by and have a look. Do you know “Vidal Fashion”? If not you should really go and have a look. I went there because of a tip Monte gave me and I found so much more than I expected!

Originally Monte sent me there to get a free outfit – I guess it’s a one day only offer… you join their group, buy your outfit and get your money back from the owner sitting at the cash register.
Again, I think it is only like that today. I picked up this wonderful pink Retro Outfit that usually costs 150 Linden.

Vidal Fashion also has some regular freebies for 1 Linden. This sporty outfit being one of them. Not bad or?

As I was standing there I had a little chat with one of the owners, which I found absolutely interesting! Who would ever have guessed… Vidal Fashion is part of a dutch project of a private person trying to raise money for indonesian children. Short term goal is to be able to support 10 families and later maybe more. The money is also supposed to give these kids an education and perspective for their future, e.g. become grafic designers.

So buying items from Vidal Fashion will not only improve your Second Life wardrobe by a great deal but also let’s u do a good deed at the same time.

Okay, one can argue about the quality of these skins. Nevertheless Ashia Designs is currents making all of their skins available for 1 Lindendollar each. Come on. That is not to bad.
That way you always have something in the inventory depending on the occasion. (So that’s why I got this gothic skin… in case I get invited to a vampire party. ^^)

Keep in mind though that chaning skin is not just changing the looks of the color of the skin but might actually make your facial appearances look different. So, if you already have a nice skin that you want to keep on wearing regularly and which looks nice on you… dont try to change your shape just to look good with the “just for an evening” skin. (Or if you do, save the shape under a different unique name so you don’t get mixed up.)

There seems to be something about red lingerie lately that is just really tempting.
This lingerie set is very straight forward yet still nice to wear. Either as lingerie or as bikini. It will pass for both.

What makes it even nicer is the fact that it comes with the wamers for the with wrists and ankles. Adds a little sporty look to it and gives you nice gadgests to pimp other outfits with. Unfortunately the warmers are No Mod – so option to actually resize them.

I almost forgot to post this freebie by Addoro! It didn’t look so promising when I saw it in the store, but i sure loved the results once I unpacked the lingerie and put it on.
Be honest, isn’t it hawt? ^^

The red lingerie set comes with the necklace and the bracelet and looks really nice. Any girl with a sense of fashian and details will love it immediately. (I think the guys will appreciate the looks! )
