Okay, my bad. I’ve known about the hunt for a couple of weeks now but have not gotten around to blog about it. For all the male readers out there or female readers with a boyfriend in need of some nice male stuff… participate in the “Make Him Over Hunt”. Exclusive high quality freebies for men from over 170 Second Life Designers. The freebies contain everything from skin, shapes, clothing, shoes, hair and whatnot.

It may be that not everything available is to your liking and maybe you’re looking for something very specific, e.g. a skin. There are several things you should use in order to make the most of it and to get yourself a headstart. (Don’t underestimate the time and effort it takes to hunt every single item.^^)

Last time I visited Loka Design was over a year ago, so naturally it was about time to pay another visit. Loka has all kinds of different stuff and among a small but very special jewellry/accessoire section. One of the things I still like are the lip piercings for couples. One partner gets to wear a mini locket and the other the matching key. Really, really cute partner piercings for 123 L$.

Easter hunts these days all over Second Life and here one that I really enjoyed. JE*REPUBLIC has scattered 10 Egghunt items (Skins, Hair, Fashion) all over the store for either free or as dollarbie.

Yes, it’s true – all I am wearing in the picture is now available pratically for free. Hidden in the JE*Republic store 10 gift boxes standing on the floor all over the shop. The boxes contain several skins, this hot short dress, the blue dress with different skirt lengths as shown below, this hair style with lots of different colors as well as an bikini and some other upper body items.

Make sure to drop by the shop in time before the easter gifts are all gone. See yourself how well made the skins are.

Indyra Originals is a Second Life Fashion Label that came quite a way. Over the years I have gladly been retourning to its store from time to time and picked up a little something. I thought forever if I really needed this dress – I don’t but I had to have it anyway!

TP to the Indyra Originals store and you will be surprised by its highly designed interieur as well as the different high quality fashion items. This dress is called “Adriatic” and is always black. The different colors that can be aquired refer to the belt color, which you can choose. The single dress can already be bought for 300 Lindens.

The pictures were taken at VeGeTaL PLaNeT. (Actually my roomie Mr. Andretti recommended it to me for fotoshoots and I gladly share. ) The whole area is glowing with wonderful funky plants and effects. Also the underwater world is worth looking at, make sure not to miss it.

Actually the title of the outfit is a bit misleading since the pattern of the dress is not tigeresque but clearly leopard – BUT nevertheless this is one hell of a bargain for 199 L$.

This dress is not only sexy but surprises with all the additional things included. For those with a severe fashion addiction the outfit is a must. Everything I am wearing in the picture is included. We are talking dress, jacket, necklace and braceletts!

I love wearing the complete outfit and am more than satisfied by its quality. The jacket is sculpted and highly detailed and the necklace and braceletts are really an eye catcher that also go well with any other outfit. Be creative.

Did you ever come across things in Second Life that you find really astonishing? These Earrings in hommage à Fabergé surely belong in that category. Each one of these beauties consists of 249 single tiny prims! They really are a piece of SL building art!

The creator of these amazing  Eggs is Alastair Whybrow owner of a little jewellrey store called “Sparkle of Sound”. “Sparkle of Sound” is specialized in victorian jewellry but can of course be worn by anyone with love to something more exclusive than mass jewellrey. Especially those with a weakness for tiaras will find lots of fine tiny prim crafted items there.

These fabulous Earings can either be bought by themselves for 450 Linden or bought in a complete set which includes a tiara, the earings, a necklace, bracelets and a bird ring for 2500 Linden. Seems much but is worth it.

Outside the shop is a vendor where I found this lovely brooch. All money made through these vendors goes directly to  “Relay for Life” - the American Cancer Society.  Hey, buying a lovely brooch and doing a really good deed at the same time doesn’t sound too bad or? Everyone should have 250 Linden to spare.

Taking some time off SL is a wonderful thing to do – especially since exploring can be so much more afterwards. Have you ever visited the Greenies in Second Life? If not – you definetly should! The Greenies are little green aliens that invaded a huge, giant house!

Seriously that house is enormous. Every regular avatar appears mouse-sized in comparision. Over several joned sims a huge living room with kitchen is ready to be explored. Take your time to roam around and discover all the fun places provided. You’ll be surprised and amused.

Great place to have fun at and to take seriously deadly cute pictures at. Have your own photo session at the Greenies and upload them on flickr to the Greenie Group. Share with us your freakiest snapshots! Get your freak out.

Have you ever been on a beach in Second Life and asked yourself how some avatars seems to be shinier and glossier than others? Almost like they applied oil on their skin.
